my ecu light came on i didnt the paperclip thingy and got code 45 meaning theres too much fuel (would explain where all the petrols been going!) what can i do to correct this or will i have to take it to vauxhall or a garage?

also the speedo has stopped working would this have an affect on the amount of fuel being used?

id take it to the garge if you think theres a problem, they will have the necessary to reconfigure the ecu

u got an electronic or cable speedo?
(speedo starts at 0 mph its electronic and 10mph if its cable)

do u use ur in car fag lighter? when the end of the cigar lighter gets all shitty it shorts out.......only problem is that it uses the same fuse as the speedo so try the fuse
