I'm gonna be fitting an induction kit for a friend.. their car is a 1.0 12v and when glancing at it the other day the airbox was different to any of the others i've seen..... there was a huge bit on the side etc.
Basically are there any sensors, switches or vacuum pipes connected to airbox besides the intake? or can i jus go ahead and yank it out like the other ones

nah, i don't think theres anythin attached to it, i just pulled it out with the rest of the airbox

it has a massive air box to fill the engine bay
when you remove it there is load of space

that why i got rid of mine. theres not point in doing a 1.0 for speed so i got rid of the air box to make my engine bay tidy
