I am an ice novice but i've just bought a kenwood Kac - 959
Its rated Max Power Output
80 W x 4 (4 Q) + 240 W x 1 (4Q)
80 W x 2 (4 Q) + 240 W x 1 (4 Q) + 240 W x 1 (4Q)
240 W x 2 (4 Q) + 320 W x 1 (2Q)
and was wondering whats the best way to set this up. I am hoping to run my front components (not bought yet) and rears (also not bought yet )
do i need a power cap ect?

Dont bother with power caps, they are useless IMO. You are better off uprating the battery and alternator but I doubt you will need to do that for your set up

whats the best way for me to wire up the speakers at front and back.
it says 80w x4 so i hook these up to the speakers, and then the 240w to the sub. is that enought for a sub?

You need to say what sub you have and what speakers you have then people will be able to tell you more about it as it depends which sub you are running to whether you amp is powerful enough

well i need an idea of what sub and speakers to buy,
as i have no idea about ice, i bought the amp off a mate
