f16 fro 2litre 8v, som had f16 wide ratio, gte astra and cav sri130's had the close ratio f16.
f10 is a nova/astra/corsa box. they did 4 speed and 5 speed f10's. f13 was on nova gte/gsi, but some cavaliers had em as a wide ratio f13.
corsa gsi box is an f15, and yes you can use it, unsure of how it works exactly but i belibe you drill the std corsa gsi flywheel holes out to fit the crank pattern of the xe. can be done as there was a 2littre 16v nva going about up ere with an f13 on it.
the number after the f, say f15, is the tourque rating on the box, so f15 can take 150lb/ft of tourque, and f28 obviously 280lb/ft. depending on what you are building, id just use the std f20 on an xe, and as the turbo's are 200lb.ft out the box, id be using the f28 on them.
you can use the f20 on an xe in a corsa with corsa gsi drive shafts. all you do is replace the inner cv joints on the corsa shafts for those off a mk2 cavalier 1600 8v big block, same cv's in a mk1 astra 1600 8v aswell
