my c20xe is leaking. driving home and oil pressure gauge just suddenly dropped so i pulled over and its hammering out around the oil filter area. could this be the oil pump/gasket?

why would the oil pump give up? where exactly is the leak coming from? maybe randomly got a hole in the oil filter?
mine is leaking from there big time aswell, im looing at it tonight, im hoping its the oil cooler pipe on mine

was drivin home oil pressure dropped BIG time, pulled over looked under bonnet, its pissin out all over oil filter, cant reall accurately assess where from though, but oil pump is around there,and its under fair pressure

if you work at vaux then get it up on the ramp and have a squint.... if there loads coming out then it should be easy enough to find 
about the oil change every week... you run the risk of waring the threads down on anything that is removed during an oil change... and also when you do jobs repeatedly its very easy to make a mistake or forget to tighen something...
change you oil every 3k would be quite sufficent

just fixed my rediculous oil leak, was a oil cooler pipe, alas, you dont got an oil cooler so its completely irrelevant, lol.
