If i havent got a lamda sensor on the exhaust manifold does that mean the engine never had a cat?Need to know for the MOT!

not necessarily. some astra gte 16v's had lamda and no cat where as my engine had a lambda and a cat. depends on year of engine

when they first started putting cats on they did not have lamda sensors so i would not worry what year of car is it?
