as above i have a c20xe coverted corsa an there is a pipe that comes out of thr cylinder head on the right under the dizzy cap back allitle it come owt an bends 2 the left the connects 2 another pipe its for thr coolent. went 2 vaux an they cant find any such pipe does any one know wat the part num is or know were i can get one or know the diamiter of the pipe that comes out the head so i can get a samco made up ive bodged it bk on know an dont wana desturb it till i get new piece chars

just use the 1 off the origional car that the engines out of

had the same problem last week, the pipe had just split tho, right near where it bends round, i just took the jubalee clip off, sawed the end of the pipe where it was split, then put the clip back on and it was long enough to go back on without being stretched to go back on, tightend the clip and the job was a good'un can you not try that or is it too far back the split?

do u know part num does urs do same bend owt 2 left the join another pipe that goes 2 the bulk head

ye mine does that, bends round to the left and towards the bulk head.

i dont know the part number, sorry.

its an astre gte one or calibra one. its a heater hose.

The number is 90410150

Getting the pipe off and back on again is a total pig of a job on the matrix as theres hardly any clearance!

common problem with rebuild heads on xe's

if not flushed correctly the hoses corrode from the inside

yeh that were it comes from that bit owta trhe head pipe looks slight dif but recon its the one any one know how much they are at vaux
