Id say
Blue for Silver/black/blue cars
Red for red cars
Green for green/black cars
White/blue/green for white cars
Pink/purple for pink of purple cars
Depends on what you want, multicoloured does look cool but borderline tacky...

in the non rev counter clocks they have 2 501 sidelight bulbs, but if you get hold of some rev counter clocks (depending on the model of your car) they have 3 bulbs that can easily be replaced with LED bulbs for a coupla quid, not sure on the number/model of these l.e.d ones though, osram or something maybe

unscrew the plastic bits surrounding steering column, undo plastic round clock surround, under 2 screws holding clocks in,push the retaining clip in at the top and the clocks come forward.if theyre electric they will just pull away,if theyre cable its a ballache to undo the cable from the clocks, theres a little clip that needs pushing inwards towards the back of the clocks and you need tp pull the clocks towards you at the same time
and on the back of the clocks there will be 2 black holders, unscrew them and there are the bulbs you need to replace if you want coloured non rev counter clocks

its the model of the car not ages that determins the clocks.
anyway you need to remove the shrouds around the steering colum first, there is 3 screws in the bottom, and 2 screws in the front, (the 2 screws may not be there on air bag models
then there is 3 screws holding the dial surround in,
there is then 2 screws holding the clocks in, after you have removed these screws there is a metal clip at the top that you need to unclip from the top of the clocks (push metal clip upwards)
Depending on if you have electronic or manual speedo then the clocks may come straight out, if not then the you will need to disconnect the speedo cable, (alltho I changed mine without disconnected the speedo cable it was VERY fiddly)
