For uni, needs to have photo printing capabilities but not rape me on ink charges!
Have a Canon Pixma ip1000 at home which is dirt cheap but obsolete stock!
Any recommendations?

hp 1100 business is a good one on ink and photos but quite big. That's what i've got a work. Also got a hp 6540 but really greedy on ink but nice and small. That's just a second one for when i have loads to print and a deadline lol. If i'm super busy i steal another PC with a hp 5850 which is also greedy on ink and an alright size; got one of these at home too.
