how hard it it to remove these vents and the piping behind? is it hard to cut the curculation so hot air onl comes out the sides and will a single din unit fit in there?

I done it .

Not hard at all to do.... Jus get a good knife out and then cover the holes up...

why dont u remove the clock n temp guage. make a fiberglass encloser. bobs ur uncle. maybe not as easy. but wil look the nuts when done

Few pics in garage.


Din in top vents looks asif its facotry fit.

If you have a big blob of fibreglass shell on the top holding a screen it looks strange. Clare Richardson had this done... i personally dont like it.

But each to their own.

Easy to relocate hazard... jus pull the wires down abit and move to near the passanger footwell...

the vents clip out and the rest is easy to cut, i iused pliers and scissors lol

what just kind of pull them squeeze them? or take the whole section of that plastic out?
