one to earth,

one to a 12v live with switch and fuse

but put fuse closest to the 12v feed

what switch? all i got in my box was...

a long pole
a few screws etc
and a long flat thing with holes in it

so where's the best place to earth it? will i need to extend the cable? and where is the nearest 12v normally?

wire it to the rear wiper wires that what i did

There is a brown wire which is already earthed in your boot use this aswell for your solenoid earth

i ran a wire from the front of my car and wired in a switch and fuse connected it to a 12v in the footwell.

if you didnt get a switch included any momentry push switch should work ok (ie one that doesnt click in and out)

can i wire it up to my rear wiper? so that when i put that on the boot pops open

which wire is the wiper? as they where all cut when i purchased the flushed boot..

But then if you knock your rear wiper and your boot's open.......

Not the cleverest of ideas IMO

Just by a switch and wire that into your live feed and hey presto, Use the existing earth cable in the boot your sorted.

mines rigged to rear wiper, never had a problem plus your boot doesnt just fly open there is a safety latch on it
