ive got a deep scratch on my car and i need to use touch up paint to sort it but i cant find the paint code
i dont have my v5 document because it hasnt come through yet
whereelse can i find it?

Which, incase anyone is as stupid as me, also contains the weight of the car, the chassis number and the trim code.
The colour code will be the 3/4 digit number before the trim code which begins with xx and has two digits after it.
I think... thats what I found anyway.

but now i need to apply touch up paint 
there is a deep scratch on the passenger side which is about 8cm long
i have bought the paint which is hycote and it has a lid with a brush one
does any one know have any tips one applying this paint so that it doesnt look crap
any help is much appreciated

may be quite hard on a deep long scratch . personnally i wouldnt use the brush that comes with the paint as it puts it on too thick . go a paint shop and ak for a small brush , size 00 ( double zero ) this brush is tiny and if you have a steady hand might just be able to paint the scratch line rather than the paint that isnt marked too . good luck whichever way you try
