Alternator went a couple of days ago, got the car fixed but now my cd player wont work!

I have checked the connection to the back of the head unit and it is all in place.

Is it most likely to be a damaged fuse or could it be something more serious inside the stereo?

Can anyone tell me what fuse i need to replace and what type to get if it is this?

Thanks

check the fuses, more than one may have blown if there has been a fault of the alternator.

does the headunit have a seperate fuse in the back of it?

Which fuse will i need to change in the fuse box?

I have checked all other things including, lights, heaters, windscreen spray, interior light and they all work fine!

it does have its own fuse but the one under the bonnet would go first. Have a look in your handbook for the fuse number

i now believe it is the fuse in the back of the head unit!

I swapped to my old headunit at lunch ad the old one works fine so logically i would assume it cant be the general fuse
