Have a x14xe engine going into my x12xe corsa this week. The 1400 sport engine has a Mantzel and Lexmaul 4 branch. What sort of power gains can i expect over a standard x14xe sport? And how will i shape up against a x16xe or c16xe? Thanks for any help!!

To get the most out of it, it would be worth a re-map.

I have the same mods on my x16xe at the mo, there's flat spots all over the place.

this is what i have been told too , i have similar mods but on a 1.6 however mine runs quite well but a re map would let me see the full potential of the mods

I've been told the ECU has been remapped for these mods to the engine. Won't really know how true that is until i have a drive in it tho. What should i look out for when driving it that'll let me know if it has/hasn't had the remap? Cheers guys!

you should get a higher rev limit for a start and a remap should as dean w said cut out any flat spots , put it on a rr road and see what the operator says . or wait for some one with a bit more technical know how than myself to answer lol .

a remapped ecu should have a higher rev limit for the mantzel, difficult to tell otherwise tbh. ask for reciepts to prove or the name of the place that did it.
