When an engine is re-conditioned, what work is done to it, i.e. what parts are replaced?
Thanks

varies loads depending on reason for rebuild, whether its for stanrd spec/performance etc ohh and make sure its not had a belt snap as cheap rebuilds can run poorly/tap

if you were going to re-condition an engine yourself, lets say there is nothing mechanically wrong with it you just want to re-new it, what parts would you replace? I know if sometihng isn't broken it doesn't need fixing but hypothetical situation lol

A re-conditioned engine from Vauxhall for example will consist of re-manufactured parts and would be considered a brand new engine with 0 miles on it.
