just snapped my funking key, it has a chip in it, i have the chip but how much will a replacement key cost and where is the best place to get one??

Vauxhall charge £122 to make a new key, with chip and code it up

Get one cut and then sellotape the transponder to it............

If you have the chip, go to a scrappys ge ignition barrel and locks from doors, and key and fit them.

certain ket cutters can do it. I got quoted £52. He put my key into this machine told me it had a chip in it still a fair wedge though for a key

just get a key cut, about £15. then fit the chip into it.

sellotape the chip to the ignition transpoder mate and that way you dont need a key with a chip inside it. I did this on my converson so i can at least have a spare key cos i only got one key with a chip in. This way if you lose you key you wont need a new ecu etc.

yeah, same... just avoid your local timpson as they charge £25-£30
