How do you tell if your shocks are fooked and need replacing?
i know corsas are quite a bouncy ride but my 99 sport is real bouncy just wandering if its to do with the shocks?

bounce each corner of the car 1 at a time. it sould rebound up, drop down half way and then back up again. if it rebounds anymore times then its prop got a faulty shock. thats how we 1st urs to tell at vauxhall when i worked there.
another way is to jack it up and remove the wheels and check to see if the is any dampness/oil around the shock where the damper shaft comes out of the shock body
