i have a 1.4 8v engine its started tapping when warm
its fine first thing on a morning when its cold
what should i be looking at replacing or doing to it besides taking it out (sounds like tappits are these worth renewing, its definatly coming from engine)

having same problem, did 2 oil changes, nothing much improved....
think i'll have them changed

give it an engine flush then new oil and filter should do it
