How easy is it to change the alternator and crank pulley with the engine in the car?

quite easy,there a long bolt that goes through underneath of alternator both nut and bolt are 13mm. when that is out you need to remove wires from alternator, theyre 13mm and 8mm, then there is one 13mm nut on the adjuster arm.

think he means the bottom pulley on engine! best to jack car up and take of drivers wheel chris!

Both can be done simply while on the car look in my garage for pics on the conversion page of where stuff is

I must admit, changing the alternator when the engine was in the car was a pain, had problsm getting it out between the driveshaft and the bottom of the bulkhead, took some twisting, turning and pulling, but got there in the end, wont come out from the top iirc.

i found when i did mine the nova it was easy
had to pop the drive shaft out though, not sure if its the same on the corsa though

to change the bottum pully youl have to turn the engine over by hand. allen or star key bolts i think which if they are the originals can round off easily so wud recomend replacing. if you need to get the crank bolt out then youl need a compressor for definate.

i can get the alternator out of mine from the top, i also have a 75amp so is slightly wider.

I might just wait on the alternator coming then til i put the engine in the car. Would make sense. Im too impatient!

get the engine in the car now, alternator is easy mate just fiddly lol

How longs the alternator going to be coming?
Although its not that difficult if you have the driveshaft out!
