thay look the same as the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 just the internal bore is different. some are sealed units and some are not also its dependant whether you have abs or not there should be a ident code stamped on it somewhere IE. EP in circle

reason i am asking is i am still unsure about pressure regulaters on rear disc conversions. my master cylinder has two outlets which split to four down behind the header tank on the bulk head. the car was a 1.2 version with no abs. the rear regulating valves are located on the rear axel. i read on the m-tech website that to fit there 3/20 regulating valves i will need a gsi master cylinder with four outl;ets and screw the valves straight into the mater cylinder and run each brake line individualy from there? just wonted to make sure this is correct as they aint cheap and cant get a def answer from someone in the no.

will have alook for the spring as have heard about this before. hoping that now i have uprated the front brakes it may not be quite so bad on rear lock. i would of thought that by now someone would of developed a master cylinder replacement for a corsa b. IMO they would sell like hotcakes as it seems many people are having a similar problem. heard that kadett-E gsi 16v ones will fit as they are they only rear disc non abs vaux around? i think though that the regs screw into the master cylinder also? surely someone has rear discs on here without abs??

if you car is 1.0 1.2 they do not have a spring bias valve but have a in-line valve in the brake pipe line , the sping valve is found on 1.4 1.5d 1.6 engines which vary the brake effect on the load y have on the car!

Also I have seen non original master cyclinders for corsa B which have 4 holes they can still be used but the same effect as they have same bore and the extra holes are closed with bleed valves !!

cheers cossie, think ime gona either fork out for the regulaters or find some thing and make it fit. a few months ago i saw a cav at my local scrapy with rear discs/ non abs but couldnt get the master cyleder/ regulaters off it coz the nuts were rounded. according to vauxhall this car dosnt exist so god noes whos been playing silly buggers with it but havnnt seen anything else that is suitable. checked for the springs and sure enough they are non existant so thats not an option. mgt find an astra gsi cylinder and try and machine it to fit.
