the 7600GS is an awesome card! got the core to clock to 500mhz, and the DDR clock at 1ghz

50 degrees under load too, and its quiet. i pick up my 3200XP tomorrow night, then i should be sorted

yes ed, its superb!!

no chris, its just an Athlon 3200XP @ 2.2ghz, 400mhz FSB. its a pretty fast little chip.

It's a cool thing when you fire up a new GPU and run a few tests and see the thing in action doing some cool stuff. Do you have any pics of the fan on yours? Mine is fucking noisy!!

its probably not very effective, it covers the AGP crossover, since this is a PCI-e card, retrofitted for AGP

When I went to water cooling I found out the graphics card fan was by far the most annoying noise.

I thought it was just volume but its pitch.

The small fast fan on the graphics card is much worse than a bigger slower cpu on for instance.

Get a silent cooler for it.
