Sony are for the meantime only bringing films out on blu ray.
Steve is right though, a player that plays both is the most likely.
They already have the chip to do it for roughly the same price as a single bluray/hd-dvd chip, just waiting on the lasers to go with it.
RAM was never really competing against RW marc, RAm has other applications, moreso for data than video.
