I need to retrieve an email which i saved in drafts and then sent thinking it would still be saved? but it has disappeared.

Any suggestions

If you sent it presumably it has moved from Drafts to your Sent Items folder?

I don't think hotmail automatically saves them.

no hotmail doesnt. the new windows live hotmail service does

My windows live hotmail doesn't, although i'm sure there's an option somewhere.

I'd check if hotmail wasn't so rubbish.
