Well, the student loan has come in, so i'm looking at building a new budget-y PC.
So far have got ...
Think the RAM i've got at the moment would be fine, so need a PCI-E gpfx card recommending, don't wanna spend too much, say £70 maximum really.
Any advice?
After that just need Hard drives really.

Trying to do it mildly cheap, and i don't really need anything special, so for the price, thought it was suitable

Just noticed that eBuyer has a happy hour 11am-1pm on Nov 1st...
So for the sake of a couple of days gonna wait till then, and HOPEFULLY get some stuff cheaper

Maybe think about going for a dual core processor? I think they are probably going to be more useful in the near future at least.

He isn't looking for the fastest system in the world.
For 50 quid you aren't going to get a really fast core 2 duo.
What you have so far is fine.

as above.
Dual core 939 has come way down in price. Although its discontinued, its quick machines for not alot of cash.
Make sure your PSU is ATX 2.0 otherwise it wont have the right connections.
*edit* does that mobo have onboard graphics? if not you need a graphics card.
im too lazy to look it up

Yeah, like i said i'm looking for a cheap system, nothing super.
the system i put together finally was £353 with 2 * 250mb SATA2 drives... so can't argue really.
It doesn't have onboard graphics, that's one of the first things i checked
