Hi everyone, I have recently bought new neon lights for the inside of my corsa and this was the manual I got
1. Open box of neon?s.
2. Take out contents.
3. check every think is there and in good condition
4. Untie wires.
5. cut yellow and black wire , at the end of the four pin plug ( throw
away top four pin plugs )
6. connect yellow wire to 12v + power source i.e. back of radio
7. Connect black wire to 12v ? power source i.e. back of radio.
8. Connect the small two pin plug into inverter.
9. Unwrap neon?s from bubble rap.
10. connect plugs from neon?s into inverter
11. Neon?s are now set up. Install kit in desired location.
But this doesn't tell you how to fit to the power supply of the radio. what does the power supply to the radio look like? How many neon lights can be wired to the power supply of the radio before it affects the radio? Is there any other power supplies? If anyone can help with this I would be eternally grateful.

I don't want to wire straight to the battery. I'm more worried that if I fit all the lights to the radio it will drain the power to the radio. I was going to do a cut in to the head lights so that when they are switched on then the neons will come on, but once again will this not drain power from the lights and dim them? Have you wired neon's in? if so what way did you go about it?

wouldn't know then, neons lights are not a personal favourite of mine, i see no point in them, its just that its 12v and the battery is the same, so i would presume it would be better working off the battery, also easier, and yes i reckon if you had enough lights on the same power source it wouldn't work aswell as it should ie radio losing power or the lights not being as bright as they should be. but i wouldnt know the outcome. i think if you had enough lights running just off the battery it would do the same but as long as the engine is on you should be fine. just give it a whirl an see what happens

I'm not a big fan of exterrior neons but interrior ones can add a nice affect. The problem with wiring straight to the battery is that they would be constantly on and running the battery down so you would have to fit a switch for each light which would be ok for one or 2 but if you had more then it becomes a pain lol, But thanks for your input. What I want to try and do is wire each to a seperate power source to minimize any power drain. So I looking to find out what other power sources there are that can be easily accessed or is there extra ports in the fuse box for these sort or things.
