Incase there are any Vodafone users on here....

Overview:
Dear Colleagues,

We have been advised by Vodafone that they are experiencing UK wide problems with voice calls and text messaging this morning.

It's not impacting all Vodafone customers, but for those who are impacted it means that they may not be able to make or receive calls, or send or receive text messages.

This is not a fault that exclusive to Cable and Wireless as all Vodafone customers both corporate and private could be affected.

Systems Affected/Impact:

Potential to affect any Vodafone customer UK wide, but at this time it is NOT affecting all customers.

Maximum Duration:

Vodafone are managing this as a Major Incident, but at present are not able to give an exact time as to when full service will be restored.

References:

An IT fault (BSD00788029) has been raised to track progress made by Vodafone, but IT cannot influence the resolution of this fault.

Regular updates will be provided by email, and real-time information can be found on the IT Alerts ticker on the Intranet homepage.

My phone works fine. Which is amazing considering it's on Vodafone, has a speed hole in the top of it and got fully submerged in foamy water a few days ago...

Dear Colleagues,

Vodafone are now reporting that approximately 80% of affected customers have now had service restored.

Vodafone are continuing to work to restore full service.

That'd explain why the text I tried to send this morning took about 15 attempts to go through, cheers Adam!
