erm... 4th pic up, looks like the panel is coming away from the engine

Plane models are spot on though, Flight Sim X must look amazing (or will do when DirectX 10 is here)

Is it neccesary to have a joystick? or is a mouse sufficient enough?

whats the point in these flight simulators? unless your a pilot or training to be one i see absolutely no point in them

true, but i mean are there points in flight sims? dont you just take off, and fly through the sky (see nothing) and then land somewhere else? or can you be like fighter planes etc and shoot stuff?

i think its because the first time i ever tried a flight sim i didnt kno wtf to do and i couldnt take off, and then i found out i had to do all this shit just to take off, so i developed a hate against them! this was like back in 2000 lol
