the main biulding does look better on the ps3, but look at the lines on the bottom of biulding and the night sky and rear view mirror are pretty bad.
like i said earlier the 360 is better at lighting/shadow effects which shows

they basically look the same, sometimes ps3 looks better sometimes xbox looks better. that last pic on madden for example the facial features of the ps3 look better but the jersey and surroundings look better on xbox
if the ps3 price ever comes down i'll buy one, my only problem with it is the price!

yeah seen those cnets reviews, i think it sneaked the slight lead because of its blu ray drive, buy a hddvd drive for the xbox and im sure it wouldve scored the same if not more, look at the user reviews also

The PS3 and 360 graphics and what not might be good but i dont think it will beat the gameplay of the WII myself.

but the same goes for all consoles, they all get borring till you get a new game. What your forgetting is you can use the Wii controller like a normal one aswell.

yes but givesyou the option , also dont forget the PS3 controller is motion sensitive aswell.

Its almost impossible to tell untill the PS3 has been out for a while. At present the 360 has more to offer as far as games and price.
Also, everyone is slagging the PS3 off at the moment as most own a 360 and wouldnt admit that they have bought they wrong console (not saying it is the wrong console) Its a bit like this forum and how people slag off other manufacturers cars.
Ive always been a Playstation man and until Ive played on one with some decent games, my opinion is still open but I have to say the 360 looks fucken awsome!!

if only it looked that good when your actually playing the game, rather than it only looking like that when taken in photo mode where everything is enhanched and slowed down to 30fps

i see what you mean, some people will just slag it off as they own a 360 but alot of people did there homework and have found out that both consoles are pretty evenly matched in terms of power which is not what sony promised.
then theres the games which was the original xboxs huge downfall, but both the 360 and ps3 have a massive line up of impressive games for the future but now the 360 is starting to get support from japan, capcom are going to release 6 titles for the 360 and its also looking like metal gear solid, dmc4 and tekken/ virtual fightre(cant remember which one) will be ported to the 360.
with the ps2 sony won the last console war hands down, it was the popular console ever. this time with the ps3 however they really got there work cut out with previous sony fanboys and game developers showing great interest in the 360
