I really should take my N64 in to Gamestation, got it off ebay and I can't get it to work. Turns on but no tv signal

I've noticed a trend on here with this.
The ps3 gets slagged because its the worst piece of electronic equipment ever made.
Then, a 360 problem gets brought up, it's noisy, it overheats etc.
The reply is, oh I just put it in the fridge, oh its not as noisy as the 747 I have beside me in my bedroom so that drowns it out, I can't afford a 1080p(I know it can now apparently output 1080p) tv so I'll just settle for technology thats nearly the best but not quite.

Shit I cant imagine what a 747 would be like in your room. I thought my 737 was noisy enough

Yeah LOL could never get it tuned in. PS just comes up on AV. I tried a manual tune and nothing.

John, TBF, your attitude towards the 360 is just as bad as most people attitudes towards the PS3 so perhaps you could STFU

John firslty can you please STFU as you own neither.
secondly PS3 and 360 both have hardware failures any new technology does.
The overheting issue has been resolved. the 360 does output at 1080p so kindly STFU.
Before anyone comes back on me yes ive played all 3 and yes i prefer the 360 as the best all round.

WTF is that aimed directly at me?
i have never said the ps3 is sh!t, just that it wasnt the super machine sony said it was and is pretty much even with the 360.
so what if the 360 is as noisy as a 12x or 16x cd drive in a computer, i honestly only notice it when a game is loading or paused.
what makes you think i cant afford a 1080p tv i only have the room for a 32" and you know you wouldnt tel the difference between 1080i and 1080p on a 32" tv.
if that wasnt aimed directly at me then thats fair enough

xbox outputs at 1080p anyway, MS just havnt released the cables yet

at the end of the day what's the point in arguing about what console is better? We're all entitled to our opinions but really neither console bests the other. Even if you have played all 3 
I want a go on a PS3 so I can gather my own opinion. It doesn't necessarily mean what I think should be what everyone else things though.

as ive said before i wouldnt mind a ps3, but as i own a 360 it would seem to me like swapping a mk4 golf r32 for an audi s3. both are hot hatches that are near enough the same on paper.
im going to wait and see what games come out for the ps3 this year and next year to see if it would be worth getting one, but with the 360 having a great game line up for 2007-08 and getting more and more exclusives it wont be an overnight decision

Mine would tune in on the onbe I got from ebay, took the the memory thing in the front slot out and put it back in again and it worked
