1995 x16xe gsi

done 71k now


want to get the cambelt done, what else should i be getting done at the same time?

i dont really know? water pump? pulleys and tensioners? cambelt? other things?

I got the whole cambelt kit (comes with belt idlers etc) and replaced the water pump aswell when i got mine done a little while ago

Worth doing IMO while the rest is off, Peace of mind and all that, Plus you wont have to pay extra labour for it when you do it at a later date.

yeh, def do the water pump at same time. Ive just nearly finished mine except i had the head gasket to do aswell!

so is that all the should really be done, full cambelt kit and water pump?

anything else i should consider while im getting that done

oilpump is an option but not always necessary as they very rarely have probs.

i wouldn't worry about oil pump!
