basically i am running an ethernet cable straight in to my computer from my 360, now when i try to connect to Live it says the IP adress is busy, how do i get around this?

I dont have wireless or a router by the way

I only wanted to play GoW

basically, i dont have a router, and there is no other socket on my modem. so the man in maplins said to get a Ethernet to USB adaptor. and from there the ethernet runs to my xbox360. The 360 then says that the IP is in use or something. Please help

Ok, plug the ethernet cable into your 360 and the back of your comp.

Then share the internet connection by following the link above.
