Has it ever fallen off? Im talking about the joystick bit

After one day mine has broken. My friends has had this happen also twice within the 3 weeks of him having it

This a common problem?

Its really odd, I woke up & mine was gone. I keep it under my pillow, maybe the tooth fairy took it by mistake
