Does anyone know if the locking centre cap key is specific for the car it came with. I have a missing centre cap and have seen some for sale but would I need another key for it.

Nope they are universal, renaults use the same key i believe

I think they are specific for the locking bolt mate. When i bought my corsa the bloke lost the key.

I had to buy a ned one from vauxhall (with 4 new bolts). The key fitted the new bolts better than the old ones which means it cannot be universal.

the key is noting to do with the cap mate, it the bolt they use.

the key and 4 new bolts were about £15 i think from vaux

I used my mates magane one for my gsi alloys!
