Hi,

I would like to know what Rad's you LET boys are running? Reason being is I really would like to use a diesel Corsa rad (due to its larger size), but my 1.4 16v Rad is going to fit sooo much better with routes i've laid out for my boost hoses.

I've got a Pacet slimline fan and a cool running thermostat. Is this going to be enough to keep things cool? And there defo isn't room to run a second fan before people suggest that.

Thanks for your help

Neil

im using std rad, diesel rad as the pipe wrk in wrong places. I think a rad that was designed for aircon might be better, but im using std with 2 pacet fans, just moved the rad forward as below

there are two types of standard rad, a cheap sh1t one that they put in some of the corsas and a slightly thinker twin core one...

i swapped mine for the twin core one and it works nicely.

its only £48, you can get them from JJ radiators in coventry mate.

im useing a corsa gsi one . air con one isnt really any bigger its wider but not as tall iirc the aircon one will make it awkward for you boost pipes if your planning on running them each side of the rad with it being wider

I use an aircon rad in mine (tuned 1.6) and works well. its a fair bit bigger than a standard rad as well. it is cooled by a pacet slimline fan mounted on the front:

(pic shows 2 fans, left one now removed)

car used to run about 93-94 degrees, now runs just above 90 constantly

The aircon rad looks identical size to the Diesel one? is that the case?

Heres the Diesel rad

The pipe connection on the drivers side is at the bottom instead of the top though.

Ok, I've measured up and I can defo fit the 1.4 / 1.6 Aircon model Rad (same as yours Dave) question is i've tried a number of online shops that sell them and they don't quote on their sites is there single or Twin Core... as I running a Turbo 2.0 im guessing its very important I find a Twin core....

Does anyone know of an Online Company that sells them? Failing that i'll have to go and see JJ radiators as suggested by Rich.

Cheers

I know a few places that sell them, just look in the yellow pages under radiators, lots of companies that advertise nationally in there. usually about £60-70 new
