Hi everyone,

Ive just bought a Corsa B GSi to use as a track day car. Its got a modified C20XE lump in it. The previous owner worked for Lotus and removed the engine from a Lotus 7.

Here is the question, Is it possible to get a C20XE to 2.2?

He has given me loads of paperwork that shows it has been done but I cant confirm it without stripping the block.

Mark

You can use a 2.2 bottom end from an Ecotec engine with a Redtop head. They don't rev too well though because they use a stroked tall block, which is why you don't see too many about.
