my bro dont know much about computers...

i gave him a serial for xp as he just bought a new hard drive. he put the serial number in as his password for logging in!

so now he has to type in an 18 digit password everytime he logs on! i went to change password and whatever we do it says incorrect password!? it fucking isnt! lol...

its written it down and we used it literally one minute before to actually log into windows. anyway to delete it or change it or create a new account that isnt a "guest"!?

oh right how do you get to option of deleting? is it just a case of clicking on your icon on "start"?

have you logged in as administrator?

Well once you have you go to control pannel > use accounts then delete that one with the dodgy password and create a new account
