are the cam shafts out of a x16xe same as ones found in a x14xe?

supposidly...i was reading about it ages ago......
the argument mostly sways toward them being the same, although c16 ones alter the duration, retaining the same lift

Well, as far as I am aware, the cams in the X16XE can be used on the X14XE instead of a piper/kent pair, as the profiles are similar.

That would make the 1.6 ones 244 deg and the 1.4 ones 236 ish.

its just schrick cams say there cams fit both but wasn't 100% sure

do you no the difference in lift/duration between the x14xe and the x16xe

they are no different. its a common myth that they are. ive measured a few sets and apparently only the very early x14's had different cams.
