just 'bought' an album off the tinternet but it seems to have an unrecognisable file extension (FLAC). WTF do i do with this? Is there any way to transfer to MP3?

you can convert FLAC to mp3, cant remember which program I used to do it now, but it should be possible

Have you got an Ipod, can you not convert it into a Mp3 file there in iTunes?

no point converting it beats the point in having a loss less audio, just >> CLICK HERE <<, download the installer, install it and then you can play flac files.
iTunes don't like flac so if you use that, you will have to convert it to lossy mp3 but once you've installed flac decoder/encoder you can use programs like CDex (free btw) to convert between file formats
p.s - and dave, this has all be posted before in two previous threads
