so far its had
a new cat, new lambda sensor, air box back on, oil, spark plugs, and red-x in the fuel,

its passing on idle, but not on fast,

results were,
fast idle test
0.72, should of been under 0.30

second idle test,
0.58 should of been under 0.30

what can i do?

exhaust wont make any difference.

What do the garage suggest has it been on a diagnostics to see what the lambda is doing?

Are they getting the car to its optimum temp.

By the looks of your readings, first one is quite high then the second is lower. which looks like there trying more its getting hotter.

Try driving quite hard then take it to garage and leave it running tilll the fan cuts in then get them to test

If already done that good luck. Borrow a cat off of a mate. lol

i would be letting you car get nice and warm before the test you have thrown alot of parts at it that dont seem to have worked. not to good on the 16v but do they have an air flow meter that can make your emmissions miles out etc.

please dont break the car wt a weaste it would be.

Not read all the thread but i'd take it somewhere else to be honest.

You've spent waaay too much money on it already IMO.

Try some engine flush etc. Give it a good boot before you get there.

My Nova was the same Mark, 4 or 5 times I had it in I think, changed all the parts you have (no CAT though).

Randomly passed one day without me touching it
