Does anyone know how I can change the settings in nero 6 to burn a 8.5GB DVD? At the moment its just recognising it as a CD, it still recognises 4.7GB DVDs. Its a Pioneer 112 DVD Drive I'm using.

There should be an option somewhere, under nero 7 you have a little drop-down option box near the filesize bar at the bottom of new project -
