Im looking to install Project Server 2007 on our server since we have so many people who require it now.
The software is about £500 per machine, so a server edition would be the best way to go about it.
Ive been quoted these prices for the software, but i have very limited knowledge/experience of this software.
We have approx 30 machines on site, and ive been quoted for 30 cals of the software, but i dont think anymore than 5/6 will be using it at once, so i might be able to reduce the CALS to 10.
We dont have SQL server, and recently spent about 10k on the whole system getting everything up to scratch, so this quote is a big punch in a small companies budget.
I was just wondering if anyone has any opinions/recommendations?
The quote ive been given can be found http://www.bridgesltd.co.uk/quote.pdf

TBH, I haven't got a clue on server installs, but looking at the quote, reducing the CALS to 10 would knock the best part of 4K off the bill.
Can you get more of these cal things later on?
Might be the best way to do it if you aren't sure how many will use it at once.....
