Car failed its MOT today on emissions
Passed on everything else including the smoked depo headlamps 
Failed on co2 emissions on fast idle (0.638 limit is 0.300)
Passed on Lambda readings so it shouldn't be that
Funny thing is the car had a full exhaust last year (standard tho) inc new cat so it shouldn't be a faulty cat either
MOT tester said to get some 'cat cleaner' and give it a good blast 
Car only does about 10 miles a day, mostly at low speeds
Any other ideas?

As the tester said,go give it a good thrashing,that should cure it..

I ran some engine/oil cleaner threw mine before the MOT and gave it a good run about 15/30mins of driving before the mot as well.
Thats my normal habit tho  had no problems with emissions at all

Mine would fail at the mo.
HC and Co are way out. Going to weld in a race cat before MOT time

all these so called miracle cleaners etc are a complete waste of space and i wouldnt even consider putting them through my engine. you need to shortlist all the possibilities and go through them one at a time
