What do i need to convert the mk4 astra 1600 16v into the same spec as the sport engine? does the manifolds all change over no bother? And does it use the corsa mounts and mate up?

It will use the same mounts as the Corsa, manifolds aren't interchangeable though as the rocker cover is different.

Cant i just change the rocer cover then? Got a full fuked sport engine here.

Nope, the rocker cover bolts are in different places.



Bolts round the edge ^



bolts in the middle ^

Basically, you'd need to use an X16XE head to fit the X16XE manifold properly (the lower half will fit, so you could fit it with a powerbox)

Thats no good then! Cant be arsed with all of the chopping and changing heads anymore! Engine has only got 31k on it aswell
