i diagnosd my car and code error was 1405 egr valve. where is this located?

depends what engine mate
x14 /16 xe are difficult to get at and are at the rear of the engine for example

Ive done exactly that.
Just leave it plugged in tho.

would a faulty egr cause the car not to idle and just cut out? my ecu light is on i read the fault code 1405which is the egr

ive got a c16xe lower inlet with tb and top part (non egr type)
if thats any good to you bud
