ever since i put my raedon graphics card in my computer it just wont load any games, when it had the geforce onboard graphics they would load (just played bit slowly) installed latest drivers etc, just wondered if anyone had any ideas

have you disable the onbaord graphics?

as far as i can tell i have, how do you disable, ive uninstalled the driver etc

you'll need to disable it in the BIOS when you first start the computer it will run checks your memory and your hard drive and cd rom, press Del and find the option in there for onboard gfx

couldnt see anything that said onboard gfx, found the onboard menu and there was something there called onboard 1394 or something but nothing obvious that would be graphics, where abouts would it be roughly, thanks for the help mate, appreicate it

1394 is a firewire i think, it shud be there just go thru each one propperly

as far as i can tell its disabled, nothing really jumps out in the bios but there is one part that says intial display - pciex which would be right, but i dunno, so any more ideas why not load my games?

You sure you've removed all the Nvidia drivers before putting your radeon card in?. Use this check and remove.

haha Vista, in that case ur onboard was designed to work with Vista and ur drivers suited. What model Radeon card have you bought and what drivers are you currently running?.

is only a x1050, have used the driver that came with the card which on the box says its ready for vista, and have tried downloading latest off ati site, as said does everything fine apart from just wont load any games.

what games are u trying to load, maybe they are not compatible with that card u have bought?
