It's the Ferrari F1 car on a flying lap.
I've played most racing games and I don't see why so many people are so critical of the physics in GT. It's just as challenging as FM2 around the corners and loss of traction/poor breaking are a common occurance.
Anyway, for the first time ever in GT ALL the driver aids (including ABS) can now be turned off: http://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-5-prologue-spec-ii-farewell-abs/

Although there's no mirrors shown, the hand movements are spot-on.
