Head is an X14XE head, has smaller ports. Inlet is different, but makes more torque iirc.

Bottom end and all that is the same.

Your changing the head and inlet.

It's up to you. Not sure if it would make lower power, of not. But the parts your putting on replace the parts that lower the power on these.

so it will be underpower compared to the sport, looked on parkers and it only has 98bhp, he could have told me it was out of a vectra

Just fit a bottom x16xe inlet with the inlet box. Power difference is barely noticeable.

Lol, its not worth the hassel of sending the engine back etc for 5hp.

Just fit a x16xe( or a x14xe) bottom inlet, with the inlet box.
20minute job with the engine out the car.

Slightly yes, but so is the inlet.
With the inlet changed there will probably be no power difference.

rung the man and he was trying to tell me the engines are exact and give the same power, so i told him i wanted to cancel because i didnt want to do the work on the inlet manifold!

but then he said i have a corsa 1.6 sport engine its come straight out of a corsa, so they are sending that down soon!! so i am pretty pleased

but still annoyed that he didnt tell me about the engines also i dont understand why he didnt just send me the corsa engine in the first place lol

o well problem sorted, thanks for the help guys!
