right i have an ecu out of a tigra. i want the 1.6 ecu and bought it over the phone from a breaker yard. it says on the ecu tigra 16v, how can i check it is the 1.6 and not the 1.4?? is ther like a code on it??

chack the part number
id be more worried that he has sent you the transponder chip and ring that matches the ecu aswell

post up the 4 letter code and I will tell you what car it was from, what engine, what year, what loom you need.......

yeh he has sent me the transponder and chip, ill be able to use the wiring from my old engine wont i?
not sure what the part number is but ill give you the nujmbers that are on here

its from an early tigra 1.6 16v. you will need the early 1 wire knock sensor and loom to go with it

as i really want to use the same wiring loom
