I've somewhoe scratched my DVD. No idea how, but it's scratched...
So, I need a replacement DVD, can I download an ISO off of the Microsoft website somewhow, or should I just download a torrent of anf ISO, I need to sort thisout while i'm at work, and I doubt the router is set up to allow me to download torrents which could be a problem. Is there anywhere else where I could get an ISO to make a new DVD?

I doubt very much a torrent will accept your licence key. Most are corporate editions or US versions, so will not accept UK keys.
Really annoys me how you can't just buy a replacement disc from M$ even if you have a fully legit copy...

Our uni site allows you to download sotfware as many times as you wish, just not allowing you another key.

why dont u download the version i have, its a fully activated 'not needing CD key' variety and its tested working, then if anyone says anything u can just shove the CD key in their face, plus it auto updates as well just as a real copy should?

Have you tried making an ISO of your scratched DVD or have you jsut assumed its fooked because its scratched?
I would try copying it at a slow speed x2 perhaps to your HDD using something like powerISO, magicISO or even Nero provided you can edit the ISO later on.
Note any files it cant copy (if any) and their locations in WINDOWS. After its finished copying, insert any missing files from your current OS WINDOWS FOLDER into the appropriate folders inside the ISO.
Burn ISO to DVD and use your serial no.
Hope this helps

Well, I'm downloading the DVD. It's taken a day so far and it's 30% complete Hmm, might have it working by the end of the week
