1999 T Reg SXI, 1.2 16v.
Had this problem for a while, would fluctuate on the idle at 1.5k. Got really bad today, and was juddering like fuck. EML only used to come on occasionally, but now its on all the time. Only seems to fluctuate in the idle between 1.5k & 2k, but sometimes drops to 0.5k.
ICV or AFM?

sounds like the AFM, but dont buy anything other than genuine, .......... ebay parts are cheap tat I got a AFM off ebay cos it was cheaper than vaux but it was a copy not an original and it was utter crap and did not work

I had that problem, was that silly motor thing that is bolted to the throttle body....
Although might not be the same symptoms
